    Viral post of delivery boy with a dream, inspiring journey of becoming a software engineer

    Shaik Abdul Sathar from Visakhapatnam landed a job at an IT firm after learning to code while working as a delivery boy in his final year of college.

    A dream job is one that most people see, while no job is insignificant; doing odd jobs to be self-sufficient while pursuing your dream provides a unique sense of fulfillment. 


    Recently the talk of the nation is a story of "a delivery boy with a dream" who became a software engineer. The story greatly inspires many people on social media


    Shaik Abdul Sathar hails from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, and worked as a freelancer during his final year of college. Sathar has done it all, from delivering food for Zomato and Swiggy to driving Ola and Uber cars and even giving Rapido rides.


    While sharing his thoughts on a Linkedin post, he wrote, "I wanted to contribute financially as soon as I can. Because my father is a contract worker. So we only had just enough money to get by,"


    However, when a friend suggested that there could be more in store for him and that he learn to code, Sathar gave all to be in a better financial position. While he toiled from 6 p.m. to midnight, moving from one location to another, handing out orders, he spent his "mornings learning to code."


    He spent his earnings on "small needs for my family" and pocket money. He was soon able to create web applications on his own.


     "I worked on a few projects and began applying for jobs," Sathar explained in his now-viral LinkedIn post.


    It's never too late to start, as his efforts paid off, and he has improved his communication skills. Using his NxtWave coding skills, he landed a software engineer position at the Bengaluru-based company Probe Information.

    "I went from having to be careful with every rupee to being able to clear my parents' debts with a few months' salaries," the young man explained.

    His story moved others as he expressed his gratitude for all of the life-changing experiences he had during his final year of college.
