Lucknow: An emergency midair scare the pilot of Lucknow bound Vistara flight made a distress mayday call due to low fuel.
There are 153 passengers in the fight when the pilot made n emergency landing escaping narrowly a midair mishap when the flight was diverted to Lucknow due to lack of visibility of low fuel in the fuel tank.
The pilot who now has been de-restored as per the instructions of the doctorate general of the civil aviation.
As per the reports forwarded by the pilot of the Vistara flight there are only 10 minutes of left in the fuel tank. The pilot’s last minute distress call helped managed a very big mishap from happening.
Usually, an airbus A-320 NEO Flight covering the Mumbai-Delhi distance lands with enough fuel for approximately 60 minutes of flight. This extra fuel carried onboard is used if the aircraft has to divert to alternate airports for emergency cases.
After reaching Lucknow a Vistara spokesperson confirm the weather in Luckow was clear and hence the decision to divert the plane as well as refuel the tank was decided thus avoiding any midair disaster.
