What! Drunk man climbs 100 ft tower demanding wife's return from parent's home; Check the full story
In a related incident from 2017, a man climbed the tower and demanded a divorce from his wife.

Digital Desk: An internet storm was sparked after a drunk man Ganpat Bakal, climbed a 100-foot mobile phone tower in Maharashtra's Jalna district. According to a police officer, the man was allegedly drunk and wanted his wife to come back home from her parents' house.

The incident occurred on Wednesday in the village of Dabhadi in the Badnapur tehsil, and Ganpat Bakal came down only after getting promises from the locals, the fire department, and the police that they would strive to resolve the domestic dispute.

"He was under the influence of alcohol. After spending four hours in the tower, he came down. Bakal was taken into custody and later released, "he said.

There is no information on whether his wife has come home. As eyewitnesses noted that the incident reminded them of the famous drunken act by Dharmendra's character Veeru in the 1970s film Sholay, it indicates that the man was inspired by actor Dharmendra. Ganpat Bakal demanded that his marriage be given another chance, but in the movie, Veeru, played by Dharmendra, climbed the water tank to get the approval of his lover's family.

The incident was caught on camera, and the video is now being shared online, making internet users shout with laughter. "While he was there, he could have adjusted the instruments to improve the VI network," a user remarked. Some users referred to it as sheer "stupidity," while others expressed sympathy for him.

It is to be mentioned that this is not the first time an incident like this took place in India. In a related incident from 2017, a man climbed the tower and demanded a divorce from his wife.
