    Digital Desk: Lady Air Force Officer Squadron Leader Manisha Padhi was appointed as the first woman from the Armed Forces to serve as Aide de Camp (ADC) in Raj Bhawan by Mizoram Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati. 

    Manisha Padhi is an Indian Air Force Officer from the 2015 batch. 



    Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati hailed her appointment as a watershed moment for women who are challenging gender norms.

    Manisha Padhi, Sqn Leader, has served at Air Force Stations at Bidar, Pune, and Bhatinda.

    Manisha was formally introduced to the authorities and workers at Raj Bhavan, Mizoram, in the afternoon.
