Digital desk: The Arunachal Pradesh BJP candidate in 13th Itanagar Assembly constituency wins easily without opposition.

According to reports, BJP candidate Techi Kaso is expected to win the Assembly seat without facing any opposition after the CEO rejected NNP nominee Tai Tadap's nomination. The official confirmation has not yet been made public, though.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu of Arunachal Pradesh previously emerged victorious in the Mukto Assembly constituency, adding his name to a growing list of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates who have won elections without any opposition in the state.

The opposition is reportedly showing a noticeable absence in a number of crucial districts, such as Papum Pare, which will probably allow the ruling party to sweep the election. Notably, Sagalee's Er Ratu Techi shows up as another strong candidate who is expected to win handily. The opposition is expected to sweep multiple constituencies, including Mukto and Sagalee, as no opposition candidates filed nominations by the deadline.

Er Hage Appa from Ziro in the Lower Subansiri district also has no opposition, which strengthens the BJP's hold. Six candidates, including Jikke Tako from Tali, Nyato Dukom from Taliha, Ratu Techi from Sagalee, and Mutchu Mithi from Roing Assembly seats, have emerged successful in the most recent update.
