    Digital Desk: Violence once again erupted in Jiribam district, escalating tensions as a fresh attack reportedly injured a CRPF officer. Meitei groups allege that amid heightened ethnic tensions, Kuki militants unleashed gunfire and explosives on Meitei communities, resulting in the destruction of homes and widespread fear.

    Meitei organizations, including Jiri Apunba Lup (JAL), denounced what they perceive as ongoing negligence by security forces in addressing militant attacks targeting Meitei villagers. They criticize authorities for failing to curb the violence, allowing militant groups to operate unchecked.
