Digital Desk: Union defense minister Rajnath Singh embarked on Monday on a two-day visit to the northeastern states of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
Singh will interact with the security forces stationed in the Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh during his two-day visit to the northeastern regions.
Taking to X, Singh posted, “Today, 23rd October, I shall be reaching Tezpur on a 2-day visit to Assam & Arunachal Pradesh. During my visit, I will interact with Armed Forces personnel deployed in the region and also visit forward areas.”
“Looking forward to celebrating Dussehra with the soldiers in Tawang,” he stated.
In Arunachal Pradesh, Singh virtually inaugurated the Nechiphu Tunnel on the Balipara-Charduar-Tawang road in September.
Around 90 infrastructure projects along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) were inaugurated by Rajnath Singh.
The Border Road Organization (BRO) built all of the projects in the Northern and North-Eastern parts of India spanning 10 Border States and union territories for a total of Rs 2941 crore.
