Digital Desk: One soldier out of the 23 was rescued on Wednesday, while areas of Sikkim are being adversely affected by the latest cloud burst, according to the Indian Army PRO in Guwahati.
According to the PRO, the rescued soldier's health is stable and he is being monitored by doctors in Sikkim.
The Indian Army is still conducting a search and rescue effort for the 23 missing soldiers.

Army vehicles that were parked at Bardang near Singtam have been impacted as a result.
Some vehicles are reportedly immersed in the slush, and at least 23 workers have been reported missing.
Due to flash floods, a high alert has been issued for two state districts.
The police control room in Sikkim has also made a road situation report available for the districts of Gangtok, Pakyong, Mangan, Namchi, and Gyalshing.
