    Varanasi: Amid the pandemic surge and its restriction, a considerable crowd was seen near ghats in Varanasi. The devotees were seen to take holy dip in the Ganga river and offering prayers.





    On Monday, Devotees surrounded the ghats of Kashi Vishwanath Temple. They have offered prayers witnessing the month of 'Sawan'. Despite Covid 19 warnings imposed by the authorities, a huge crowd was marked.





    People were seen mocking COVID-19 rules and limitations. However, hardly some people were observed wearing masks and practising social distancing.





    The authorities of the area questioned the people for violating the Covid 19 protocols. On being asked, Ravinder Kumar, a devotee, said, "I am not afraid of anyone in God Shiva's place. God Shiva will take care of everything.





    Upon being questioned for not wearing a mask in the public sphere, Ravinder Kumar, a devotee, sai bd, "I am not afraid of anyone in God Shiva's place. God Shiva will take care of everything.
