2 Bills Passed By New Ayush Minister Sarbananda Sonowal In Lok Sabha

New Delhi: Newly Appointed Union Minister of AYUSH, Shri Sarbananda Sonowal passed 2 bills in Lok Sabha. Two Bills namely, National Commission for Homeopathy (Amendment) Bill, 2021 and the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (Amendment) Bill, 2021 were passed by him On Tuesday.

The National Commission for Homeopathy (Amendment) bill proposes to ammend National Commission for Homeopathy Act, 2020 to provide a medical education system that improves access to quality and affordable medical education. The 2020 act was replaced by Homeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 while the second Bill proposed to amend the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020.

As per reports the bills were passed without any discussion taking place.
