New Delhi: In an aim to mark the ongoing ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that 75 Vande Bharat trains, like the Udan schemes, will connect different parts of the country in 75 weeks.
Addressing on the occasion of 75th Independence Day at Red Fort, PM Modi said, “The Country has planned that 75 Vande Bharat trains will connect every corner of the nation within 75 weeks of ongoing Amrit Mahotsav of Independence.”
“The speed at which new airports are being built under the UDAN scheme connecting the remote area of the country is extraordinary.” PM Modi added.
‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ is an initiative of the Government to mark the 75th year of Independent India, a tribute to the freedom fighters. To mark the occasion, several events are being organized across the country.
Further, PM Modi stated, “ Northeastern states capitals will be soon connected with the railways. It will also get connected with Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Southeast Asia.
“This Independence Day a new history is being written in the North East India. The work of connecting all the States capitals of North East with rail service is going to be completed soon.” added the PM.
“Under the Act East Policy, Northeastern states are being connected to Myanmar, Bangladesh and South East Asia.” asserted PM Modi.
Additionally, PM Modi, aiming to build a new India, gave a call for “Sabka Prayas” along with “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” to build a new India.
PM Modi also underlines that India has to move forward with pledges for the coming 25 years.
