Does Congress central observer Jitendra Singh have a secret alliance with the BJP?

Digital Desk: The Congress, which has been in the state for 15 years in a row in Assam, is in a state of disrepair. The rift within the party, the games of leaders who left the party and joined other parties, has now put the Congress in a tizzy in Assam. 

One after the other influential leaders of the party have quit the party and joined the BJP. 

Leaders like Rana Goswami have also resigned from party posts recently. There are reports that Rana Goswami will also join some other party. 

Despite such a setback for the Congress, the central observer in charge of the Assam Congress, Jitendra Singh, has not come to Assam even once. At a time when Singh should have stopped party leaders from switching sides, he seems to be looking at colors by staying outside Assam.

This complaint is now made by many loyal workers of the party. Instead of resisting the erosion of the party, instead of preventing it, Jitendra Singh, who is at a safe distance with silence, has raised doubts in the minds of many in the party. 

Is Jitendra Singh secretly aligning with the BJP? Such doubts are now expressed by many in the party.

According to the complaint, a Congress MLA from central Assam, who was once called a rotten potato by Rupjyoti Kurmi, has played the role of a link between Jitendra Singh and the BJP. 

That particular Congress MLA is now being viewed with suspicion by many within the party. 

However, many have also said that Jitendra Singh has raised doubts in the minds of many about him, perhaps because the BJP trying to poach CLP leader Debabrata Saikia. Is Jitendra Singh benefiting the BJP by staying within the Congress? 

This is a serious question for many dedicated workers of the old party today.
