Digital Desk: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Mohan Yadav on Wednesday took oath as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, with Jagdish Devda and Rajendra Shukla taking oaths as Deputy CMs. The swearing-in ceremony, held at the Lal Parade Ground in the state capital, saw the presence of top-notch leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, and former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Governor Mangubhai C. Patel administered the oath of office to the BJP leaders, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the state's governance. The announcement of Yadav as the Chief Minister came after much anticipation and speculation over the BJP's unusual choices for leadership roles.
Meanwhile, Vishnu Deo Sai will sworn in as the CM of Chhattisgarh in Raipur. Alongside Sai, Vijay Sharma and Arun Sao will take the oath as Deputy Chief Ministers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, JP Nadda, and other prominent leaders are expected to grace the event, according to the Chhattisgarh public relations department.
As the suspense over the chief ministers' names concludes, attention now shifts to the speculation surrounding the cabinet berths, likely to be unveiled during today's swearing-in events in both Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
On the other hand, Rajasthan-designated Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma is scheduled to take the oath on December 15, adding to the series of political developments in the region.
