Digital Desk: The first opposition meeting to strategize the plan for the Lok Sabha elections in 2024 concluded on Friday, with the next meeting scheduled for July 10th or 12th. In a press conference, JDU leader Nitish Kumar stated that the next meeting will be held in Shimla, under the leadership of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was not present at the press conference, despite being one of the 15 political parties present at the opposition meeting in Patna on June 23. Neither Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal nor Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann could be spotted at the press conference after participating in the opposition meeting earlier.
"The next meeting (of the opposition) will be chaired by Mallikarjun Kharge next month," Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said following the Opposition meeting in Patna.
"Leaders from several parties were present, and everyone shared their perspectives; it was a good meeting," he added.
