Digital Desk: The Bihar government, which consists of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his deputy Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, will increase on Tuesday when a total of 31 new members from the various Mahagathbandhan (also known as the Grand Alliance) parties are sworn in.
The swearing-in will take place at 11.30 AM at the Raj Bhavan.

Nearly a week after Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, broke with the BJP-led coalition and formed a new administration with the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Congress, the newly formed "Mahagathbandhan" cabinet will be expanded.

Before the cabinet expansion, a number of meetings amongst the Mahagathbandhan partners were held. The number of ministers in the Bihar government is fixed at a maximum of 36.
