Digital Desk : A new controversy has erupted between singers Diljit Dosanjh and AP Dhillon. It took centre stage during AP Dhillon's concert in Chandigarh where he accused Diljit of blocking him on Instagram.
Digital Desk: Rahul
Gandhi, the former president of the Congress, debunked claims that the Gandhi
family will have remote control over the future party leader on Saturday.
Rahul Gandhi was
speaking at a press conference in Tumkur, Karnataka. He has been the focal
point of the Congress' Kanyakumari to Kashmir Bharat Jodo Yatra.
"Both candidates
(Mallikarjun Kharge and Shashi Tharoor) have a standpoint and a perspective
(for the Congress presidential election). They are strong, intelligent
individuals. Neither of them, in my opinion, will serve as a remote control. Sincerely,
I believe that this tone is demeaning to them both," he remarked.
Kharge had dismissed
the backstage remote control claims, saying, "People think I am a remote
control and work from backstage. They claim that I will follow Sonia Gandhi's
lead. In Congress, there is no such thing as a remote control, let me assure you.
Collectively, people make decisions. You are thinking it. I am aware that
certain individuals are working to develop this concept.
