Yogi govt adopting ‘Kejriwal Model’ in UP, says AAP
Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi aimed to warn against freebies and how they may hamper the country's progress while addressing a gathering in UP earlier last month.

Digital Desk: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) claimed that the Uttar Pradesh government was implementing the "Kejriwal Model" by offering free bus trips to women above the age of 60.

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, announced earlier today that the state would soon provide free travel to women above the age of 60.

"Very soon in Uttar Pradesh, we are going to introduce free travel for those above 60 years of age on government buses," he said in a tweet.

Sanjay Singh, an AAP member from Uttar Pradesh, claimed that a rebellion is currently building within the party.

After Bihar, it appears that Modi ji is facing opposition in UP, he said.

Atishi, a member of the AAP's political affairs committee, joined the group and stated, "So Yogi proposes freebies and Modi opposes freebies! There are divisions inside the BJP!"

Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi aimed to warn against freebies and how they may hamper the country's progress while addressing a gathering in UP earlier last month.

Following PM Modi's remark, Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, and other AAP members defended their stance, claiming that offering the public free and high-quality services in the areas of education, healthcare, electricity, and water were not freebies but rather the government waiving bank loans for "a few friends."
