Guwahati: Today's official handling of nine acres of land to Assam Cricket Association brought a 'solution for parking issues'.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had handed this land to construct a multi-level parking facility to be used during high-octane international competitions as great as for other wide-ranging cricketing activities.
This extra plot of land will give a massive boost to the current cricket infrastructure at the ACA Stadium, Barsapara, Guwahati. It will also resolve the longstanding problem of parking constraints faced by the Assam Cricket Association.
The auspicious occasion was graced by Shri Bimal Borah, Hon'ble Minister, Sports and Youth Welfare, Government of Assam, and many of the renowned personalities of the state.
