Dibrugarh: A massive fire broke out in Dibrugarh yesterday evening, gutting 25 houses in the fire completely. The reason behind the major fire outbreak is yet not ascertained. Locals though claim the fire might have started following a short circuit. Soon many cylinder blasts took place as the houses were in close proximity that further spread the flames.
One Manish Saxena owned the 25 rented houses that were completely destroyed in the fire. No casualties have been reported.
Meanwhile fire tenders from various areas have reached Dibrugarh's Tinkunia area where the fire broke out. Efforts are underway to control the fire.
