Digital Desk: An earthquake of 3.4 magnitude rocked Meghalaya on Saturday (May 6).
According to a National Centre for Seismology report, the epicentre of the latest tremor, which occurred at 11:35 a.m., was located at a depth of 5 km in North Garo Hills, Meghalaya.
Earlier on May 5, a mild earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 on the Richter scale hit Meghalaya at around 9.07 a.m.
The tremor was also felt in neighbouring states. However, there have been no immediate reports of damage or injuries as a result of the earthquake.
