APCC Vice-President resigns over lack of recognition and communication

Sahu, however, expressed his dissatisfaction at his seniors' lack of acknowledgement and reaction, pointing to a rising sense of disenchantment inside the party.

Digital Desk: The Vice-President of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee, Raju Sahu, has unexpectedly tendered his resignation, citing a lack of communication and recognition from the party leadership.

Sahu wrote to Bhupen Borah, the President of the APCC, expressing his displeasure with the way decisions are made and the lack of consideration for his opinions on issues about the districts of Dibrugarh and Tinsukia.

Sahu lamented the lack of consultation or communication over choices concerning the aforementioned districts, which are under his purview, despite his unwavering commitment and tireless efforts in planning and executing party operations. He emphasized that he has been working tirelessly, even at his own expense, to boost the party's interests in the area, demonstrating his dedication to the party cause.

Sahu, however, expressed his dissatisfaction at his seniors' lack of acknowledgement and reaction, pointing to a rising sense of disenchantment inside the party. He emphasized the significance of good teamwork and communication within the company, both of which he believed were lacking during his vice-presidential term.

Consequently, Raju Sahu submitted his resignation as the APCC's vice president, indicating a rift within the group and casting doubt on the efficacy of the party's leadership. His resignation serves as a reminder of the difficulties faced by grassroots leaders and the demand for increased openness and inclusivity in political institutions.
