Digital Desk: Akasa Air has launched a new flight route from
Guwahati to Bagdogra to improve air connectivity. On Tuesday, the inaugural flight took off, signalling a major rise in air traffic activity at Guwahati's Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport.
Passengers travelling from Guwahati to Bagdogra were pleased with the new flight since it provides greater convenience and accessibility. The service is operated by a Boeing narrow-body aircraft with a single-class layout, offering 189 Economy Class seats. Tuesdays and Wednesdays will be the days for the flight.
The departing flight, QP 1372, departs Guwahati at 09:15 a.m. and arrives in Bagdogra at 10:15 a.m. On the opposite route, the flight departs Bagdogra at 05:40 a.m. and arrives in Guwahati at 08:40 a.m.
From July 11 through October 28, 2023, Akasa Air will operate this route, giving passengers a long time to take advantage of the enhanced connectivity.
Along with Akasa Air, Spicejet Airline has added new Guwahati to Patna and Varanasi flying routes. The aviation connectivity options from Guwahati during the summer timetable are strengthened by these developments.

Patna and Varanasi have expressed delight with the expanded flight options. 80 seats in Economy Class are available on the Bombardier aircraft that Spicejet is using to fly these itineraries.
The SG-2952 incoming flight leaves Guwahati at 05:55 and lands in Patna at 07:50 in the morning. On the other hand, flight SG-2991 takes off from Guwahati at 16:30 and lands in Varanasi at 18:15.
From July 10 through October 28 of, 2023, Spicejet will run these routes, giving customers a quick and dependable travel choice. The expansion of tourism and economic activity in the area would be aided by the improved connection offered by both Spicejet and Akasa Air.
