Digital Desk: In a shocking incident, the residence of MLA Sherman Ali Ahmed in Dispur fell victim to burglary, with the perpetrators targeting the room of his Personal Security Officer (PSO). The burglars made off with a magazine containing 20 bullets, Rs 16,000 in cash, and a credit card. Furthermore, police uniforms and other clothes were also reported missing.
The burglary occurred while MLA Sherman Ali Ahmed was away in Dhubri for a campaign. This incident has raised concerns about the security measures in place, especially for public figures and their residences.
