Guwahati: Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared a post on his Twitter displaying his happiness of meeting the children of Anganwadi Centre of Borkothiabari ICDS project at Behali.
Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, "Delighted to have spent some time among the children of Anganwadi Centre of Borkothiabari ICDS project at Behali. Their simplicity & ingenuity touched my heart."
Additionally, he thanked and appreciated the workers of Anganwadi centers for their contributions in keeping good work intact.
He further tweeted, "Also distributed take-home ration (THR) to 96 children of the area and thanked Anganwadi workers for their good work."
Recently, during the BJP executive meet in Guwahati, Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said," MPs who do not listen to the Prime Minister's commandment do not have the moral right to ask for a ticket in the upcoming 2024 elections. Several MPs have not visited the Anganwadi centers after PM Modi asked them to look after the food distribution facilities. I am personally looking into the matter."
Assam CM Sarma specified that one could leave if one cannot perform their duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.

Supporting the statement made up by Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma , MP Rameshwar Teli stated, ” Being a Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, I have several responsibilities to execute, yet I have visisted two Aganwadi centres of my constituency.”
As a mark of his works, Assam CM Sarma visited the Anganwadi center and also displayed a motive for other MPs to keep their visits regular in these centers. The MPs were asked to look into the food supplies and other help provided to the centers for smooth and equal distribution.
This initiative taken by Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma would set an example for others to provide their helping hands for the children of Anganwadi centers.
