Digital Desk: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated 100 buses powered by compressed natural gas (CNG) at ISBT in Guwahati on Sunday.
The ASTC implemented the CNG bus initiative as part of the Guwahati Smart City Project, according to sources.
The launch of the CNG buses and a few other initiatives, according to CM, will be the state's gift to the nation in the next year.

We are getting closer to achieving Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2070 as clean and green energy is introduced into public transportation.
According to sources, two CNG filling stations have been installed in Ulubari and ISBT.
