    Assam: Gunotsav 2024 to start from January 3 to February 8 in three phases

    Digital Desk: Schools to get all prepped up in Assam as Gunotsav 2024 is scheduled to begin from January 3, 2024, and last until February 9, 2024, despite the instruction's end date of February 8. 


    This plan will be implemented in three stages over 88,525 schools and 42,76,881 students from grades I to IX will be participating.




    Gunotsav 2024 Phase 1 will take place from January 4 to January 6, spanning 12 districts including Barpeta, Karimganj, Kamrup, Karbi Anglong, Kokrajhar, Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Sibsagar, South Salmara-Mancachar, and Udalguri. This phase's self-evaluation is set for January 3.


    Baksa, Biswanath, Chirang, Charaideo, Dhemaji, Dhubri, Golaghat, Hailakandi, Jorhat, Kamrup (Metro), Sonitpur, Tinsukia, and Tamulpur will be included in the second phase, which will begin on January 10 and end on January 12. This phase's self-assessment is scheduled for January 9.


    Finally, the third phase is set to take place from February 6 to February 8 and will include districts such as Bongaigaon, Darrang, Dibrugarh, Goalpara, Cachar, Nalbari, Morigaon, Dima Hasao, Majuli, and West Karbi Anglong. The self-assessment will take place on February 5.


    Gunotsav 2024 results are expected to be released on April 15, 2024, at 11 a.m.
