    Assam's Dhing express Hima and Amlan borgohain won gold at 3rd Indian Grand Prix
    At the third Indian Grand Prix, which was contested at Bengaluru's Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Amlan Borgohain took home two gold medals in the men's 100- and 200-meter races.

    Digital Desk: Two sprinters from Assam, Amlan Borgohain and Hima Das, have once again brought honour to the state via their outstanding performances in sport.

    At the third Indian Grand Prix, which was contested at Bengaluru's Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Amlan Borgohain took home two gold medals in the men's 100- and 200-meter races.

    He won both competitions with times of 10.50 seconds for the 100 metres and 21.22 seconds for the 200 metres. Amlan made the nation proud with his great achievement by showcasing exceptional talent and perseverance.

    In the meantime, sprinter Hima Das won the women's 200-meter race and the gold medal in the same competition. She finished the race in 23.77 seconds, leaving her competitors in the dust.

    The 21-year-old Assam athlete known as the "Dhing Express" has been in fantastic shape recently and has been steadily reducing her times. Her most recent success is evidence of her commitment to the sport and her hard work.

    Daneshwari Ashok Thakkanavar of Karnataka won the bronze medal with a time of 11.90 seconds.
