    Digital Desk: In a heartwarming incident, a woman died of a heart attack after learning about the death of his son in a road accident at Thengalgaon in Golaghat’s Khumtai.

    According to reports, a youth of Thengal village identified as Rahul Thengal alias Dimbeswar (33) was killed in a road accident in Dhodar Ali area on Thursday night in Khumtai.

    The mother, Janki Thengal, collapsed early this morning as she was unable to bear the news of her son's sudden death. She was taken to a local hospital where doctors declared her dead.

    Meanwhile, the unseen incident in Thengal village has left the residents shocked.

    Earlier on Thursday in Golaghat, Assam, a pedestrian was crushed to death in a horrible incident involving an oil tanker.

    According to initial accounts from the scene, the man was killed instantly by being crushed to death by an oil tanker that lost control and ran over him as he was walking along the road.

    The tragic incident occurred on National Highway 39 near Morongi Chariali, which is within the jurisdiction of the Numaligarh Police Station in the Golaghat district of Assam.

    According to witnesses, the driver of the oil tanker lost control as it approached at a high pace. The tanker struck the trees and shrubs at the side of the road in addition to running over and crushing the victim.

    The driver of the tanker also sustained injuries in the accident.
