According to reports, the accident occurred in Noonmati's Bapuji Nagar in Guwahati. As he stole the home, the son allegedly gave his father an injection of a narcotic that knocked him out.
According to additional sources, the father then committed suicide after regaining consciousness.
In addition, it has come to light that the son embezzled about Rs 3.5 lakhs that had been set aside for the father's medical care.

The Indian Army jawan was robbed of cash valued at Rs. 1.19 lakhs by criminals in broad daylight at Boko in Assam's Kamrup district earlier this week on Thursday, bringing to light another instance.
The victim jawan was identified as Raju Sangma. After allegedly withdrawing the money at the State Bank of India (SBI), branch in Boko, the incident purportedly occurred.
When Sangma went inside a saloon for a haircut, several unknown robbers who had been following him stole the bag of cash from him. The other robber fled the scene with the bag despite the jawan grabbing hold of one of them.

Near Lumding College, the incident took place. The guy had taken the money out of a bank and stored it in a box on his scooter. The unscrupulous person attempted to steal money off the scooter. The neighbourhood residents, however, were able to seize the robber and deliver him to the police.
The thief was identified as Munia Das, a resident of Guwahati.
