Hazarika has openly urged MLA Gogoi to leave Sivasagar and work for Assam and India...
Digital Desk: In the dynamic political arena of Assam, a heated exchange has unfolded between Pijush Hazarika, a prominent Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) politician and minister, and Akhil Gogoi, an influential MLA and leader of the Raijor Dal. The discourse has delved into various issues, notably allegations of corruption and land ownership.
Known for taking a straightforward stance, Minister Hazarika has openly urged MLA Gogoi to leave Sivasagar and work for Assam and India, saying that he should stop playing politics within one caste.
The BJP MLA said on Facebook that Akhil Gogoi's social media post revealed his arrogance, egotism, irritation, and narrow-mindedness.
Further Hazarika wrote, "First of all, let me make it clear that our government, the Chief Minister's love and responsibility towards the Ahoms does not require any certificate by Akhil Gogoi. The entire indigenous community as well as the Ahom people have given their love to the CM and our government. And this is the proof of every election and post-election environment."
According to Hazarkia, MLA Gogoi has demonstrated that he is a communal person by shouting at the BJP and Chief Minister Sarma.
"Akhil Gogoi, who entered politics by instilling a strong sense of pride in farmers and by utilising the people's movement, now speaks in merely three Gogoi terms. Now, I would like to know why Akhil Gogoi has stated on multiple occasions that three Gogois will get together and change the political atmosphere of Assam. Were the titles Gohain, Borgohain, Bora, and Saikia absent? Why do you feel the need to conduct politics in this manner using titles and caste? Is there Borgohain, Buragohain, Barua, and Phukan in Akhil Gogoi's team? I have never seen it with you to date," mentions the social media post.
