Digital Desk:  Priyam Deka of Assam has brought pride to India and her native state after earning a seat in the Office of Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Transport Affairs following her achievement in the United Kingdom Civil Service Examination.

According to sources, Deka is the only Indian who passed the exam this year. She has received several congratulations, with well-wishers wishing her a prosperous and bright future in administrative service.

The United Kingdom Civil Service in the United Kingdom resembles the Civil Service tests administered by the Union Public Service Commission for Indian Administrative Service.

Priyam's milestone achievement not only demonstrates her dedication and determination but also acts as a source of pride for the Assamese community. 

According to sources, Priyam expressed her pride in representing India and giving Indians in the UK and worldwide a chance to express themselves.

Reportedly, Priyam will report to Minister Mark Harper, Cabinet Secretary for Transportation. Priyam Deka's duties as a bureaucrat include assisting with government contracts, advising ministers, performing policy assessments, and providing direct assistance to those who use government services.
