Digital Desk: Assam Police sources revealed on Saturday that the BJP Kisan Morcha Secretary, Indrani Tahbildar, has been suffering from severe stress disorder for the last few months and is consuming sleeping pills.

During the investigation, police found a box full of sleeping tablets near her body at her residence in Guwahati.

It is assumed that the deceased intentionally swallowed more than 60 sleeping tablets in order to commit suicide.

Meanwhile, the police have released some exclusive details about the death of the BJP leader, in which her alleged lover, Anurag Chaliha, a resident of Golaghat, played an important role.

According to police sources, Chaliha is accused of embezzling over ten crores of rupees and of duping several job applicants over the last few months under the guise of providing such jobs.

Apart from that, Chaliha was also involved in running liquor businesses and obtaining several government projects with the help of Indrani.

It has also been revealed that Chaliha has been captured by some unidentified people from whom he borrowed crores of rupees for an array of reasons. Later, they grabbed his phone and wristwatch and began blackmailing him with intimate photographs of him with BJP Kisan Morcha Leader Indrani Tahbildar.

Following that, the two's objectionable photos went viral on social media platforms.

It is worth noting that many of those involved in the incident are likely to come under the police radar soon.

Earlier on Friday, Indrani Tahbildar allegedly committed suicide after an objectionable photo of her with an invitee member of the BJP Kisan Morcha from Golaghat district went viral on social media.

Reportedly, the incident occurred at around 5.30 p.m.
