Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) met in Guwahati on April 6 to devise strategies for winning all 25 parliamentary seats in the eight Northeastern states.
Rajib Bhattacharjee, the leader of the BJP's Tripura branch, declared on the occasion that the party's central authorities are eager to win all 25 Lok Sabha seats in the region.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) presently holds 14 of the 25 Lok Sabha seats in the eight Northeastern states, while the Congress holds four.
Notably, AIUDF in Assam, the NDPP in Nagaland, the MNF in Mizoram, the NPP in Meghalaya, the NPF in Manipur, the SKM in Sikkim, and an Independent in Assam, on the other hand, each have one seat.
Of the 25 Lok Sabha seats, Assam holds 14 while Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, and Tripura each have two. There is one seat each for Mizoram, Nagaland, and Sikkim.
