    CBI continues investigation into Junmoni Rabha’s death case for 4th consecutive day
    Family members of Junmoni Rabha have called for a thorough probe into the official's death.

    Digital Desk: On Sunday, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) continued its investigation into the mysterious death of Morikolong Sub-Inspector (SI) Junmoni Rabha.

    According to sources, the investigative agency's team is interviewing Sumitra Rabha, the mother of the killed police officer, at the Guest House as DIG Lovely Katiyar watches over them.

    Raja Irshad, the officer in charge of the Dhing Police Station, and Manoj Rajbongshi, a suspended police officer, are also being questioned by the CBI.

    In the meantime, a thorough search is being conducted at the government mansion of Junmoni Rabha in Nagaon for any evidence that can shed light on the death of the slain police official.

    Family members of Junmoni Rabha have called for a thorough probe into the official's passing.

    It should be noted that Junmoni Rabha, an Assam Police Sub-Inspector (SI) who was involved in several issues, died in a car accident at Kaliabor in the Nagaon district of Assam. 

    The accident happened on May 16 at Sarubhagia hamlet on National Highway 37 when the vehicle Rabha was riding in collided with an approaching container truck having the registration number "UP 78UT 4518." 

    According to sources, the accident's massive effect caused the car to be completely smashed. Local police arrived on the scene and hurried the SI to Kaliabor Sub-Divisional Civil Hospital for medical care, but upon arrival, the medical professionals there declared her dead.
