    CBI questions controversial SP Leena Doley in SI Junmoni Rabha's death case
    According to highly placed sources, the interrogation is taking place at an unidentified location in Guwahati city.


    Digital Desk: Leena Doley, the controversial superintendent of police, reportedly comes under the Central Bureau of Investigation's (CBI) scrutiny on Monday.

    Reports stated that a CBI team is questioning Hailakandi SP Doley in connection with the shocking death of former Morikolong sub-inspector Junmoni Rabha.

    According to highly placed sources, the interrogation is taking place at an unidentified location in Guwahati city.

    The CBI has summoned the former Nagaon SP Doley for questioning today based on the FIR that the dead officer's mother Sumitra Rabha filed at the Jakhalabandha police station on May 19 of this year.

    Prior to this, a CBI team led by DIG Lovely Kataria of the central investigation agency visited the districts of Nagaon and Lakhimpur and interrogated nearly all of the parties implicated in the case. This CBI team has also questioned many people who have been involved in the smuggling of fake gold and fake Indian currency notes (FICN).

    The Kaliabor location of the accident involving SI Junmoni Rabha's car was also inspected by the CBI team.
