Digital Desk: In a tragic incident, a student from Guwahati's Beltola area took the extreme step on the day of CBSE's class 12 first exam 2024.
The student identified as Mayur Goswami was a student of Delhi Public School, Guwahati and his body was found in his room in Beltola's Chandan Nagar. The highly talented Mayur Goswami secured the fifth position in the country in the CBSE class 10 final examination. The body was found in flat number 102 of Urvashi Enclave in Beltola on Thursday morning.
It is to be noted that Mayur Goswami was living alone in the flat with a caretaker. When the caretaker woke up in the morning, he saw the door of the room closed. Later, the security guards of the enclave later broke open the door and found Mayur hanging. Dispur police reached the spot and took the body to GMCH. A special letter has also been recovered from the side of the body.
It may be mentioned that Mayur's mother died seven years ago and his father father Pranav Goswami lives with his younger brother at Bishwanath's house.
Mayur's father Pranav Goswami works as a manager in Biswanath's tea garden. The 17-year-old Mayur had come to Guwahati to study in DPS.
The deceased Mayur Goswami was a science student of higher secondary. The student thought he would not be able to do well in this year's examination. Due to which the bright student was suffering from mental stress.
The student Mayur mentioned such things in the suicide note. The shocking incident has sent shock-waves in area.
