Digital Desk : A new controversy has erupted between singers Diljit Dosanjh and AP Dhillon. It took centre stage during AP Dhillon's concert in Chandigarh where he accused Diljit of blocking him on Instagram.
Mariani: Ahead of the upcoming by-elections, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday campaigned for the former Congress leader and newly inducted BJP leader Rupjyoti Kurmi in Mariani.
During the campaigning, CM Sarma made a number of promises to the voters. Among them, he announced that the state government will spend INR 40 crore for the development of the Mariani Tea Garden Line.
Besides, to alleviate the water crisis in the region, Sarma promised the voters that the government will announce door-to-door water service at the Mariani Tea Garden Line.

To develop the education scenario in the region, he also said that ten new schools will be built from VI to XII grades. Additionally, he stated that the students of the tea gardens will enjoy reservations of around 20 to 25 seats while taking admission in medical colleges.
Moreover, CM Sarma also said that the tea garden works will get MGNREGA cards and Atal Amrit Cards, through which they will be able to enjoy multiple benefits.
Further, Sarma urged the voters to show their support for BJP and give their valuable votes to Rupjyoti Kurmi in the forthcoming by-elections.
