Guwahati: In an aim to provide hassle free registration of employment, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma launched an online registration portal for employment exchanges in Assam on Monday.
Now, anyone who has Aadhar card can register themselves in the online portal i.e..; employment.assam.gov.in. without the difficulty of queuing at the employment exchanges.

For people who do not have an Aadhar card will have to register themselves offline at the Employment Exchanges by March 31, 2022.
Till now, the registration process has to be done physically in the employment exchanges of the state.
As per the CM Sarma’s statement this portal is user-friendly. A job-seeker simply needs to fill up the details and follow the given instructions on it.
