    Curfew to be extended till July 20 in Manipur

    Manipur government have decided to extend curfew till July 20. The order followed by the high court said to choose permissible activities based on various measures taken by the Manipur government. Therefore, a night curfew will be imposed from 7 pm to 5 am till July 20 across Manipur. Further, officials said the Covid situation had deteriorated the case in the state, which is why it needs to be controlled. 





    In the order, Chief Secretary Rajesh Kumar mentioned that the service centres of personal computers and mobile could open their shops from 10 am to 2 pm on the days when the grocery shops will be closed. 





    Opening up and normalising the situation in the state will depend upon the Covid scenario and the progress in vaccination. Vegetable vendors will be ensured by the district administration the spots of vendors being marked and complied with. Grocery shops will continue to open as an earlier process made on July 12, 15 and 18 from 7 am to 10 am. 





    The order issued taking strict actions for implementing the necessary measures regarding the curfew.
