    Digital Desk: On Monday, officials informed that narcotics worth about Rs 35 lakhs that had been found during several police operations had been destroyed in Assam's Hatsingimari.

    According to officials, among the massive quantities of drugs recovered were brown sugar, heroin, and cannabis. These items were found during numerous anti-narcotics operations during the state-wide crackdown.

    Additionally, according to officials, three police stations and two police outposts in the Dhubri district had seized the drugs that were destroyed today.

    In the Mankachar block of Assam's Dhurbi district, close to Hatsingimari, is the Rambholapara Helipad, where the drugs were burned.

    Drugs destroyed by police in Assam's Dhubri earlier this month were worth more than Rs 30 lakhs, according to officials.

    According to reports, the Dhubri authorities launched an initiative to burn drugs seized during anti-narcotics operations in the area.

    According to information obtained, the police and district officials conducted the drug destruction operation at a brick kiln in Gauripur town, which is located in the Dhubri district.

    Officials from the Dhubri district who were involved in the operation also said that drugs worth about Rs 30,97,940 were destroyed during the raid.
