Digital Desk: A large number of YouTubers are nowadays taking advantage of the popularity of social media to prove the wrong things to be right. One such YouTuber is seen trying to demean Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in society by distorting Sattradhikar's speech in the hope of gaining cheap popularity this time.
Recently, a female YouTuber has distorted Sattradhikar Pitambar Deva Goswami's speech to suggest that the destruction of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is inevitable. Sattradhikar's speech has been distorted in such a way that it seems as if he is speaking directly of Himanta Biswa Sarma. A case has already been registered at Dispur police station against the woman YouTuber for distorting the speech in this manner.

An FIR has been filed by the BJP executive member and President of SADOU AXOM VAUNA SANMILAM (Guwahati City Committee), Jayanta Deka for hurting religious sentiments through distorted and motivated presentation. Deka has asked the Dispur police to take legal action in connection with the incident.
"Sir, take respect. Regarding the above, let me tell you that we have come across a video circulated on social media "YouTube". The video presents a very important, melodious explanation of the first chapter of the Bhagavata Puthi by Lord Sri Sri Pitambar Deva Goswami, the supreme priest of Auniati Satra in Majuli. But it is a matter of great regret that the person who has made a video distorting the speech of the Sattradhikar Prabhu is performing with ulterior motives and in which the name of the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, is irrelevant and derogatory and very objectionable words have been used against the Honorable Chief Minister. Apart from this, through this video, Hinduism, The Most Revered Bhagavata Puthi, Satra Culture as well as the Most Revered Sattradhikar, the Supreme Lord has been insulted, as well as kalima in the vam idol of the person and the mentioned event, which has caused harm to the society by deliberately sending wrong to the whole society," the FIR reads (loosely translated in English from Assamese).
It added, "Therefore, I appeal to inquire through this FIR against the creator, presenter, and promoter of the said "YouTube" video, YouTube social media as well as all the concerned persons and events and take appropriate action. It is to be noted that many premature YouTubers in Assam are now distorting the history of Assam by going to express their knowledge. Many have commented that the government should be aware when there is time against such YouTubers."
