Digital Desk: The state government has created the Assam State Higher Education Admission Portal to streamline the admission process for undergraduate study in colleges across Assam. The webpage, named eSamarth, was launched today in the presence of Education Minister Ranoj Pegu and Education Adviser Dr. Nani Gopal Mahanta.
The Assam State Higher Education Admission Portal, created under the supervision of Samarth eGov, intends to streamline and centralise admission procedures for state universities and government-aided institutes in the state. The portal will provide students with a user-friendly platform to help them with their application process.
The Assam State Higher Education Admission Portal, which can be accessed at http://assamadmission.samarth.ac.in, will formally open its virtual doors tonight at 10:00 p.m. Students seeking admission to various State Universities and Government-aided institutes can use the portal from then on to submit their applications and track their admission status.
The "Society for Advancement of Multiple Activities and Rehabilitation through Technology and Humanity," also known as Samarth eGov, has been at the forefront of implementing new solutions in the education sector. Samarth eGov created the University Information Management System Project in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi's Innovation and Incubation Centre (IIC) and the Ministry of Education (MoE).
