Digital Desk: Bandana Kalita, the main accused in the murder case of her husband and mother-in-law, appeared before the special court again on Thursday.

Refuting all the claims levelled against her, Bandana staunchly denied any involvement in the horrible crime. During the court hearings, she hinted at the prospect of providing critical information at the right time.

Assam police had earlier issued a comprehensive 1630-page charge sheet against Bandana, documenting the evidence and witnesses acquired throughout the investigation.

Meanwhile, Bandana Kalita's other two partners, Arup Deka and Dhanti Deka, appeared in court today for a hearing.

Bandana killed her husband and mother-in-law, dismembering their bodies and putting their body parts in a refrigerator.

According to initial reports, the murder occurred in Guwahati's Noonmati area. The murder is believed to have been the outcome of the accused woman's extramarital relationship with another man.

According to reports, after the murder, the accused severed the bodies of the two victims and put the parts inside a refrigerator. Three days after the murder, the bodies were dumped in Meghalaya.

Bandana Kalita, along with her partner and another friend, committed the murder. They conspired to kill her husband, Amarjyoti Dey, and her mother-in-law, Shankari Dey.

It should be noted that the victims in the case, a mother and son, had been reported missing since August of last year. Following Bandana Kalita's arrest, the horrifying murder case came to light.
