Under the leadership of Additional District Commissioner Biswajit Saikia, a meeting was convened at the meeting room of the Kamrup Metropolitan District Commissioner.

During the session, it was emphasized that entities participating in the Ambubachi Mela are restricted from independently providing food or beverages without prior authorization from the district administration. Saikia reiterated that arrangements for such provisions must be made only with explicit consent, with officials from the food and civil supplies department stationed at designated locations to supervise these arrangements.
