Digital Desk: Assam’s heartthrob Zubeen Garg was discharged on Sunday from Nemcare Hospital in Guwahati after five days.
Zubeen was engaged in writing a script for his upcoming movie 'Roi Roi Binaale' during his stay at the hospital.
Speaking to the media, Zubeen said, “I got enough rest in the last 5 days. The work for the upcoming films will continue but I have cancelled my trip to London for the time being. However, I will keep doing my concerts. I will resume my work for a song from tomorrow itself. I have also curtailed my recording work at night after doctor's advice."
Meanwhile, Zubeen's doctors at Nemcare Hospital have advised a 15-day bed rest.
Zubeen Garg, a vocalist, was taken to a private hospital in the city after becoming unexpectedly unwell during a songwriting session earlier on Tuesday.
Dr Hitesh Baruah, the managing director of the private hospital, told the media in a statement: "There is no need to be concerned; Zubeen is safe. We will just put him under medical monitoring for the day. Every test that is required is being carried out."
Additionally, Dr Baruah revealed that Zubeen unexpectedly collapsed on Tuesday night while working at a studio; as a result, he suggested his family take him to the hospital.
"We have already begun Zubeen's conservative treatment, and we can start the aggressive treatments after we receive his final medical findings. The fact that he is reacting to us and has no internal injuries is encouraging," the doctor added.
