Digital Desk: Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday, where he extended an invitation for him to come visit the state and inaugurate a slew of projects.
Taking to X, CM Sarma shared details of his meeting with the Prime Minister. The chief minister of Assam invited Prime Minister Modi to visit the state to lay foundations and launch numerous projects during their meeting. PM Modi has been asked to lay the project's foundation stone here, along the Kamakhya corridor. Additionally, PM Modi has been invited to lay the foundation for the Sivasagar Medical College and to inaugurate the Tinsukia Medical College. In addition to this, PM Modi was requested to dedicate Bir Lachit Barphukan's imposing statue in Jorhat.
Additionally, CM Sarma mentioned that he received advice from PM Modi on the 2024 Assam Business Summit. According to the chief minister of Assam, their objective is to use it as a platform to draw in private capital and quicken the state's economic growth.
