Digital Desk: In a significant development in the ongoing investigation into the death of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kisan Morcha Secretary Indrani Tahbildar, the Chandmari Police have registered two separate cases, marking a pivotal turn in the case's trajectory.

The husband of the deceased, Indrani Tahbildar, had initiated the inquiry by filing a First Information Report (FIR) at the Chandmari Police Station. Subsequently, the investigation into the matter has led to the lodging of two distinct cases numbered 318/23 and 325/23. These cases have now divided the focus of the investigation into two crucial fronts.

The first case, bearing number 318/23, is centered around the unauthorized dissemination and proliferation of intimate and objectionable images of Indrani Tahbildar. Preliminary findings suggest that the circulation of these private images may have been a contributing factor in driving her to take the extreme step of ending her own life. The case is expected to delve deeper into the chain of events that led to the tragic incident, aiming to hold responsible parties accountable for their actions.

Simultaneously, case number 325/23 has been launched to unravel the potential monetary transactions involved in the entire ordeal. This aspect of the investigation seeks to uncover any financial exchanges or transactions that may have been related to the circumstances surrounding Indrani Tahbildar's demise.

Today, two executive members of the BJP's state unit, Sanjiv Sharma and Kapil Talukdar, were subjected to questioning at the Chandmari Police Station regarding their potential involvement in the Indrani Tahbildar death case. The police's scrutiny of these individuals is anticipated to shed light on the chain of events leading up to the tragedy. 

In parallel, the law enforcement authorities have made significant progress in the investigation. Four individuals—Anurag Chaliha, Diban Deka, Rekhanta Das, and Aseem Chakraborty—have already been placed under arrest in connection with the case. Their detainment underscores the seriousness with which the authorities are approaching the investigation as they seek to establish a comprehensive understanding of the circumstances surrounding Indrani Tahbildar's untimely demise.
