According to the ADC, the Kamrup (Metro) district administration would coordinate with Kamakhya Devalaya and all departments to ensure that this year's "Ambubachi Mela" goes well.

Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) was given the task of adopting special efforts to ensure the cleanliness of the entire city of Guwahati during the five-day "Ambubachi Mela," including the temple grounds.

The task of cutting the branches from any tree that is leaning near Kamakhya Temple has been handed to the forest department. Keeping the snake rescuers informed and stocking up on anti-snake venoms are other requests made to the forest department.
Worshipers can take public transit to the temple's entrance gate below the Nilachal hills from several Guwahati locations through the Assam State Transit Corporation (ASTC).
During the five-day "Ambubachi Mela," the Public Health Engineering Department has also been instructed to take the required steps to ensure that there is no shortage of water on the temple grounds and in the camps put up for the devotees.
The Guwahati Police Commissioner's office will also develop a detailed plan to guarantee reduced traffic, crowd control, and the security of devotees during the fair (Mela).
