at the Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), followed by a loud explosion.
According
to accounts, the fire at the Numaligarh Refinery in Assam's Golaghat district
was followed by an explosion, which shook the hydrocracker facility.
The
cause of the huge fire has yet to be determined. Meanwhile, many fire trucks
have been dispatched to the scene, and efforts are underway to bring the flames
under control.

witness at the Numaligarh Refinery fire stated. We raced to the spot as soon as
we could because we were locals. We arrived to find flames bursting from
within. We discovered that a fire had broken out at the Hydrocracker plant
after inquiring around."

time of the incident." "We hope no fatalities are reported as a
result of the incident and that the fire is brought under control as soon as
possible," he added.
