    Digital Desk: On October 14, five Assam students arrived from Israel after travelling through a country ravaged by conflict. 


    The five, according to sources, arrived in Israel on the second special flight for Operation Ajay, which was also transporting 235 Indians.


    On Saturday morning, under the aegis of "Operation Ajay," a second charter flight from Tel Aviv to New Delhi brought back Indian nationals who had become stuck in Israel due to the ongoing hostilities.


    Ranjeet Kumar Dass, Cabinet minister for Assam, posted on his X account, "Had a telephonic conversation with three students brought back from war-torn Israel who expressed their gratitude to HPM @narendramodi led Government of India for their commitment to Indian people's safety."


    "A total of 5 Assam kids safely made it home. The minister said, "Welcome back to Assam, Surajit Kalita, Vivek Chetry, Pritam Sarma, Naziha Tarannam, and Debajit," Dass added.


    Furthermore, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar asserted with photos of the second homecoming posted on X, previously known as Twitter, "On the second flight, 235 Indian citizens arrived in all, including two newborns. "#OperationAjay Flight #2 carrying 235 Indian nationals takes off from Tel Aviv."


    Additionally, the Minister of State for External Affairs Rajkumar Ranjan Singh met with evacuated Indian nationals at Delhi Airport. Several state politicians and government officials were on hand at the airport to greet residents from their home states.
